    There are thousands of people suffering from the ravages of Hurricane Ike. They are not profligate. They truly have lost everything! They are, for the most part, hard–working, tax paying American citizens. The Constitution points out that the Government is to help those citizens under such disasters. FEMA is trying hard. However, it appears from all the newspaper articles and radio talk shows that there is a hugh boondoggle of misinformation. It appears that, head Chieftain of the Department of Homeland Security security, "under which FEMA operates," Michael Chertoff, is a "Son of A Bitch," according to the flooded Texas town of Bridge City's Mayor, Kirk Roccaforte.— The Beaumont Enterprise, September 22, 2008, pages 1, 4A.

    It furthermore appears that Chertoff and only one or two others, are making the decisions at the top affecting the whole of the Gulf Coast afflicted area.

    Nothing seems to be written in stone that the agents in the field can use. For instance, one man evacuated from Warren, Texas has had his motel bill approved by FEMA; another staying at the same approved motel must first have his house inspected by a FEMA agent before he can receive any funds for reimburstment. The newspaper article did not say if the Warren man did have his house inspected. Considering the fact that much of the area has not been traversible, he may not have had his property inspected, but was awarded the reimbursement anyway. Citizens are saying one agent says one thing; another, another thing.

    A FEMA representative said on a local talk show that you have to fill out the forms very, very carefully. Many are not filling them out carefully. This is interesting, because our society has been dumbed down for the last 40 to 50 years (previously written about in an UpDate) such that it appears many cannot read the instructions well enough to correctly give the winning answer(s) that FEMA wants. It further appears that some to perhaps many FEMA current employees administering the responses to the questionaire may be as bad off as the people filling out the forms. We are wondering if the FEMA employees are reading the forms intelligently also? After all, government entities have never been famous for hiring the best and the brightest.

    The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor, May, 2008, page six, writes:

"Education? It's been dumb–down time for the past 40 public school years...where a massive socialistic union shows us all how to 'average down' to the lowest level of achievement — making sure no child is left behind. Government money, grants, and special minority programs dictate the future direction of all education — to lower levels in comparison with the rest of the world."

    And on page 12, The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor says:

"To say the vast majority of Americans today are brain–dead is a gross understatement. They have been dumbed down, mesmerized, propagandized and brainwashed by Wall Street, Washington, the Fed, the media (especially television), and the educational system. They have lost almost all ability to think, reason, connect the dots, or discern the emerging threats and crises of our day. We are now losing our freedoms in quantum jumps, and almost no one takes note, cares, or is even aware of what is being lost."
    When Israel divorced themselves from God, disobeyed Him, and angered Him,

Romans 11:8 writes:

"God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear."

    Americans no longer seem to know good from evil and evil from good; they now call good evil and evil good.

I Thessalonians 2:11 says:

"For this reason, God sends them a powerful delusion, so that they will believe the lie......" Is this America now? We wonder.

    Another point, many of the recipients of the food stamp assistance program received extra credit for foodstuffs. However, the recipients became mad as hell when they could not buy cigarettes, alcohol, and CDs with the government credit card. It was for food, water, and possibly ice.

    When The Hell hits, and if we lose everything, this is the time we throw up to God Ephesians 6:13:
"Therefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
